It is a requirement from our funding body, DEEWR (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations) to have a committee made up of:

• Employer/Industry Groups
• Government Schools
• Catholic Schools
• Independent Schools
• Parent Groups**
• Young People (aged 18-24 years) and
• An indigenous representative

** The parent representative is expected to have the experience and skill relevant to the purpose of the LCP Board eg; experience of being a parent of a 13-19 year old and/or skills in consulting parents as demonstrated through their membership of a parent group in the LCP Service Region.

Staff:

Program Manager for Youth Career Services is Angela Hussey. Angela is based at Deniliquin and has educational, industry and management experience and is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the organisation.

Marg Bull, Deniliquin Program Coordinator based at Riverina Region Deniliquin District Office in Deniliquin. Marg has been working as an educator for 30 years and involved with structured work placement for the past 5 years. Marg has extensive experience working with schools and employers within the Deniliquin, Finley, Moama, Barham and Balranald region.

Russell Elliott, Coomealla Program Coordinator based at Coomealla High School. Russell has extensive educational experience and is developing strong links within the Coomealla Mildura region.
