GirlSavvy is a one day workshop for young women, which encourages them to think about the benefits of being financially independent. The workshop set in a conference style environment and consists of presentations and activities aimed to inspire and motivate the participants. The great strength of the workshop is the use of local professional women who act as mentors for the day. Girl$avvy provides a great opportunity for girls to meet women in their area who have succeeded in various professions and who are aware of what opportunities exist in that community.

It aims to introduce students to occupations in HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES and provides opportunities for career exploration in this very large and growing industry.
